Windows 8: "Windows can't activate right now"

If you’re installing Windows 8 RTM and you get “Windows can’t activate right now” when attempting to activate Windows, here’s a workaround to try:

From a command prompt, run:

slui 3

Then enter your product key as usual. If tried from the control panel you might get an error “DNS request not supported by name server.”

        Brilliant! Thank you so much! I would only add that you should press Enter after slui 3; otherwise you get the same error message.
